Fitness – The Sports hub
Just 5 minutes’ walk from co:worx is the Edgeworthstown Sports Hub located at St. Mary's Community Campus on the Granard road in Edgeworthstown. The primary objective of these Sports Hubs is to promote sport and physical activity among individuals of all ages in the community.
Cultural – Maria Edgeworth Centre
Located across the road from The Green - The Maria Edgeworth Centre is an inspiring interpretive centre that is home to original exhibits dating back to the 18th century. Maria Edgeworth is the essence to the history of Edgeworthstown, uncover the rich history of Ireland’s early education system and the role played by the Edgeworth Family or take the literary trail.
Leisure – Edgeworthstown Library
Located on the Main Street of Edgeworthstown, easily accessible to all, this contemporary space is filled with light, with colourful seating areas and shelves and shelves of wonderful new books!
The children’s library on the ground floor includes a sensory wall, a tiny tot’s corner with a reading tree and an older children’s space for study or computer use. The ground floor also hosts a relaxing corner for adults to sit and read the newspaper or choose from a quick pick selection of popular reads, suiting every taste.
Team Building - Midland Karting
Midland karting is a 5 minute drive from co:worx. 1100m of smooth asphalt, speed, twists, turns, and lots of fun! Our track is the perfect venue for your corporate/hospitality events, or for a day out racing your friends. The track is fully floodlit so it can run throughout the winter months (weather permitting).
