We’re thrilled to announce that Co:worx has been nominated by Longford County Council to represent the county at the National Pride of Place Awards in Limerick on Friday, November 7, 2025, in the Creative Community Category and we were delighted to welcome the judges to co:worx on 27th June.
The nomination showcases the Co:worx project as a creative solution to the problem of dereliction, revitalising an unused space into a thriving business hub which continues to take a creative, collaborative approach in everything it does.
It was great to show the building’s refurbishment, the beginning of the co:worx story, and to introduce the judges to the co:worx and local community, whose continued support helps us sustain co:worx into the future.
The Pride of Place Awards is “An all-island competition that celebrates the incredible work communities are doing across Ireland.” Co-operation Ireland, IPB, and Local Authorities coordinate this important initiative. It focuses on the power of people coming together to shape, improve, and enjoy the best aspects of their area.
